Secondary School Streams

• Express Stream: PSLE Score 4-20, 4-year program leading to O-Levels
• Normal (Academic): PSLE Score 21-22, 5-year program leading to O-Levels
• Normal (Technical): PSLE Score 23-25, 4-year program leading to N-Levels
• Foundation Subjects: Available for students who need additional support

School Posting Process

• Phase 1: Students who qualify for Express or Normal (Academic)
• Phase 2A: Students with siblings in the school or parent/staff connections
• Phase 2B: Students with CCA, volunteer work, or other affiliations
• Phase 2C: All other eligible students
• Phase 2C Supplementary: Remaining vacancies

Cut-Off Points (Indicative)

• Top Express Schools: 4-8 points
• Good Express Schools: 9-15 points
• Average Express Schools: 16-20 points
• Normal (Academic): 21-22 points
• Normal (Technical): 23-25 points

Subject-Specific Information

• English Language: Foundation English available for students needing support
• Mathematics: Foundation Mathematics available for students needing support
• Science: Covers Physics, Chemistry, and Biology concepts
• Mother Tongue: Chinese, Malay, Tamil, or other approved languages
• Higher Mother Tongue: Optional, provides bonus points for good performance
